A new challenge
Well I started the Paramedic program last night. I thought that going to the first class would relieve some nerves but I still have the knots in my gut that are making it hard to feel good about anything. We were informed that we have to pass this first phase with 80% or higher to advance to the next class. Although I am pretty confident that I can do it I am really worried about it all. It is going to be a lot of work and study time that I hope I can make room for with the kids and all. But I keep telling myself as soon as it is all over and done it is going to be awesome.

Dont know what the title should be
So today was Makaylas first day of school and the little shit wouldn't let me take a good picture of her so sorry no pics of Makayla. Between being an ornery little shit and me accidentally burning her with the curling iron I guess she decided no pictures. It was quite the morning with that one. But I do have some cute pictures to share. I got to spend some time with the baby and we had a blast. His Mom decided to take his Binky away so he compromised.
I know few and far between but what the hell I decided to share one I hate pictures but we were having fun and grandma had the camera.

Thankful Thursday
This is going to be short but I feel like I need to write down what I am thankful for. First of all I have to say I am thankful for the opportunity to start the paramedic program soon. I am very excited and thankful for the opportunity. And definitely thanks to the one who made it possible and has helped me through the rest of the crap to get here. I am thankful for the flowers I know sounds kind of stupid but I finally got flowers to bloom at work. Well i guess not just me had alot of help and alot of people who water them. I was so excited when I seen that one bloomed. It has been cool to learn all about gardening and how to get things to grow. I think I am going to do my own garden next year if I have the time. For kids who love me and are so damn cute and friends who are there no matter what.
I know not to much but it is a bit and some of what I am thankful for today.
I know alot of weeds but I was so excited I took the picture before I pulled the weeds.

Ashlee's First Day Of Second Grade
So check this out Ashlee was actually excited to go to school and she actually got girl cloths and she looks like a doll. I feel so old not only is Ashlee in second grade but Makayla starts kindergarten next Monday. Ashlee loved her new teacher and class so I guess all is going well with her so far.

?????????????
So this post is going to be a little weird but I am just writing what is on my mind. So today I was watching the Olympics this afternoon and they were doing a spotlight on one of the athletes I have absolutely enjoyed following this time around. It was quite an eye opener as most of us usually hate when people ask questions of our honest mothers, but it was an amazing interview they did with her. When we all watch the Olympics or someone who is just absolutely amazing we never think of what that person may have overcome to get where they are. But on to my point. This awesome guy was not considered to be the best of kids in fact his mom was told when he was in kindergarten that he wasn't a "gifted child". He was diagnosed with ADHD as a young child and as most he was brushed off as a problem child. Later in life he was picked on cause he has big ears and was slightly larger then the rest of the kids his age this guy is 6 ft 3 and wears a size 14 shoe. But as we see today if we focus on what we want and make lemonade out of lemons look where we could be. It is amazing what people can do and become when they put their mind to it. I know kind of strange coming from me but that was a big eye opener for me. Can you imagine going from being the "loser" or "ungifted child" to being tied with the most winningist of gold medals with the possibility of surpassing him. I decided it has to be about heart.

Makayla's Dance
I finally made it to one of Makayla's performances it was hard work to well I would say get out of work but I promised her I would be there so I had to be. She did really good and was so cute. I guess I better get used to the fact that this is what she likes. I was hoping she would decide she didn't like it but forget that.
